In following reports, Orange represents Pulanka’s result.
Rock Characteristics
The tested rock is a holocrystalline, intrusive igneous material, typical of ornamental stone quarries, with a granular and compact texture. It is primarily composed of:
- Quartz: ~30–35%
- Plagioclase feldspar: ~40–45%
- Microcline (alkali feldspar): ~15–20%
- Biotite and hornblende (accessory minerals): ~3–5%
Physically, the rock presents:
- Hardness: 3 to 5 on the Mohs scale
- Porosity: Low (typically <1%)
- Water absorption: <0.4% by weight
- Compressive strength: >120 MPa
- Abrasion resistance: High
- Density: ~2.70 g/cm³

Conclusion
All bits were used to the point where drilling was no longer feasible, with the exception of the orange bit, which remains in usable condition. If resharpened, it is estimated that the orange bit could still complete an additional 10 to 15 holes of similar depth and hardness, demonstrating notable durability. In summary, while the orange bit exhibited the most promising results in terms of resilience and performance, the variability observed, particularly with the red bit, underscores the need for controlled.
